You will be asked to switch off your mobile phone and leave your shoes and belongings for safekeeping in the cubes at reception.

You be invited to enter the yoga room quietly and relax before class.

Classes commence with a brief relaxation and breathing exercise and conclude with a longer relaxation exercise. Relaxation practices are an important part of yoga and are referred to as 'savasana' (sha-VAH-suh-nuh).</p>

Our teachers will demonstrate yoga poses and use both English and Sanskrit terms throughout the class.

Our teachers will observe your yoga practice and offer individual assistance and corrections throughout the class; please know we do not practise 'hands on' adjustments.

Classes are conducted at room temperature (we like to sweat naturally). It's normal to work up a light perspiration or to sweat during class and it's normal to experience muscle stiffness the next day and for your first few classes.

Listen to Your Body: An important part of yogic practice is to always listen to your body and work within your limits, rest when required and listen to the teacher’s instructions for a safe and enjoyable practice.

Class concludes with a simple Sanskrit chant (Aum or Om) and by saying ‘Namaste’ which literally means 'I bow to you'.

Your yoga teacher will catch-up with after class and answer any questions you may have.

  • Choose loose comfortable clothing that won’t restrict your movement and bring layers. Socks, jackets, etc that you can leave on at the start of class and take off as you begin to warm-up (yoga is practiced barefoot).

  • If you have your own yoga mat, then you may want to bring it with you, which is great! If you don’t have a mat, then you can use one of our mats which is complimentary. We supply all props complimentary! Just bring along a bottle of water and towel if you like.

  • Yes, Yoga is a great way to keep your body feeling great and your mind in balance during pregnancy. Practicing during pregnant is a very individual process, so we recommended consulting with your health care professional. It is always very important to notify your teacher at the beginning of the class so they can offer you modifications.

  • There are no contract terms, so please feel free to contact us to cancel anytime. We will still love you! And who knows, maybe our journey together may serve you better in the future.

  • Our Yoga classes are designed for adults. Children must be aged 10+ years and over to attend classes. Children below the age of 12 must have a parent or guardian in attendance at the studio and in classes at all times.

Mature: Age is a number, not a limit! You can be any age to attend classes. If you're not currently exercising or have any injuries (aches and pains), health conditions or movement restrictions. Please give us a call before attending our studio to discuss which classes are suitable for you.

  • The physical, mental and emotional benefits of yoga and meditation have been widely reported in medical journals and in the media over recent years. A regular yoga practice helps to reduce the negative effects of stress, disease and lifestyle pressures helping us to feel, move and breathe better.

A regular yoga practice of 2 or more classes each week can help with the following:

    Increased flexibility, strength and stamina.

    Reduced blood pressure.

Improved mood and increased feelings of calm.

    Improved posture.

    Increased energy levels.

    Improved sleep patterns.

This is paragraph two of the answer.

    Strengthen immune system.

    Improved balance, focus and concentration.

    Improved digestion and circulation.

Reduced frequency of visits to chiropractor, physiotherapist and doctor.

    Relief from the following conditions;

    Neck, Shoulder and Back pain

    Disc injuries

    Scoliosis

    Migraine / Headache

    Body aches and muscle stiffness.

  • Yes! You are a perfect candidate for yoga. Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that's a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis in order to take tennis lessons. Come as you are and you will find that yoga practice will help you become more flexible.

This newfound agility will be balanced by strength, coordination, and enhanced cardiovascular health, as well as a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.

  • Our Yoga is for everyone! We offer modifications and complimentary props to suit the beginner to the more seasoned Yogi. Yoga is all about your personal journey on the mat, so we encourage you only to do what feels right for you! That is the beauty of Yoga, the journey and progression as we grow. We do offer a Beginner Series Course, for those who would like to learn the fundamental basics in a more relaxed environment.

  • Yes we encourage bookings to ensure you place. We do recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes early to secure a mat. Book online or via text message to Dani on 0477 279 797

  • Yes you can still practice yoga. In fact, Yoga may even be recommended by a medical professional, physiotherapist or chiropractor to make yoga part of your lifestyle to assist with recovery of an injury or to help reduce stress and muscle tension.

If you have an injury, medical condition or any restricted movement, it's best to contact us and have a chat with us before attending class to make sure our style of yoga is suitable for your injury or condition and you will have an enjoyable experience.

  • We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before class to check in at reception, set up your mat, talk with the teacher about any injuries or concerns you may have and prepare yourself for practice. You will be required to complete a registration form in order for us to be fully aware of any health issues or injury’s you may have. You can also download the form to complete prior to your arrival.

  • Your 14 days starts from your first class at the studio (and not from your purchase date). This means that, from the date of your first class with us, you can attend as many classes as you like over the next 14 day period.

  • In yoga practice we twist from side to side, turn upside down, and bend forward and backward. If you have not fully digested your last meal, it will make itself known to you in ways that are not comfortable. If you are a person with a fast-acting digestive system and are afraid you might get hungry or feel weak during yoga class, experiment with a light snack such as yogurt, a few nuts, or juice about 30 minutes to an hour before class.
